COVID-19 vaccination campaign – Spring 2023

COVID-19 vaccination campaign – Spring 2023

The NHS COVID-19 Spring 2023 vaccination campaign is underway with ‘boosters’ being offered to people aged 75 and over, people with a weakened immune system and residents of care homes for older adults.

Our south east London network of immunisation providers this Spring includes GP surgeries, community pharmacies, NHS provider Trusts and Primary Care Networks.

We are visiting care homes across the area already to administer vaccinations. The NHS is writing to people who are eligible inviting them to book an appointment.

Booking

  • People who are in these categories and therefore eligible can also make a booking now by using the NHS App or visiting nhs.uk/CovidVaccination or by calling 119
  • People aged 5 –  49 who have not received any COVID-19 vaccines, or have had a first but not second  dose can also still get protection. More information on first and second doses and to book appointments: www.nhs.uk/CovidVaccination
  • The final date for appointment for this, and all Spring boosters, is 30 June.
  • Walk-in vaccinations are available in some areas: nhs.uk/vaccine-walk-in

Please help us promote the importance of vaccinations to people aged 75 and above, and those with weakened immune systems and their families, friends and carers.
